Yes, we’re in a serious recession, but Barack Obama and Joe Biden still think you should do your holiday shopping with the DNC.

If you’re on the Obama e-mail list, you must have noticed the latest message — titled “Your Obama holiday mug” — offering a Limited Edition Obama Coffee Mug for only $15.

If I purchase by Dec. 15 the mug will most certainly arrive by Dec. 25. Proceeds go to support the DNC:

“This holiday season, celebrate our historic victory with a limited edition Obama coffee mug. Your donation will support the Democratic National Committee and help recover the enormous resources they committed to this campaign.”

So is this where I should send the last little bit of that stimulus check I got this year? Come to think about it, I haven’t spent the $40 I got from New Mexico yet. Maybe I’ll buy a couple of these with that.
