McDisappointed; Walsh Postpones Visit

ALBUQUERQUE — Sorry "Gray’s Anatomy" and actress Kate Walsh fans, but the special Kelly’s Brewpub visit to support presidential candidate Barack Obama has been postponed, said State Rep. Al Park (D-Albuquerque). Park is an Obama volunteer on the leadership team for the New Mexico campaign.

"We got word from Walsh’s office that there was a conflict," Park said. "That’s Hollywood, I guess. But we hope she’ll be able to reschedule."

Walsh – Dr. Addison Montgomery on the hit TV series "Gray’s Anatomy" – has been lending her support to the Obama campaign in Arizona and California. She’s part of a growing list of young Hollywood stars who have publicly come out in support of Obama.
Walsh also is featured in a steamy car commercial where the signature line is, "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?"

Let’s hope she returns a favor to her New Mexico fans and reschedules.
