Gwyneth, you are a hypocrite and you can delete this comment if you want to for name calling, but the fact remains. You never tried to censor anybody until you tried to censor me. baby_fatt just called Dendahl a troglodyte, which I can see as being any different than calling somebody a jerk and you did not reprimand him.

So you can try and marginalize this argument with your disrespectful fake admonishments of New_Mexican, but that does not change your hypocrisy.

But hey if you are okay with credibility of high school gossip blog, then more power to the Independent! I suppose if you all want sit around all tell each other how smart you are then there shouldn't be a problem, after all its just a blog, by all means censor differing view points, it definitely shows the strength of your arguments.

Dendahl is exactly correct regarding Richardson ('even a blind hog can root out an acorn every now and then'), and we on the left must be the first to recognize it. Richardson has been a disaster for progressive politics in New Mexico: tax cuts for the rich, for-profit managed care for the disabled, access to taxpayer billions to the highest bidder. The proper way to deal with troglodytes like Dendahl is to marginalize them: police our own side more diligently than the right ever could, and laugh at the absurd pettiness of their politics of resentment.

It's quite amusing that Dendahl has found a safe and happy home near Denver (Colorado: America's Bavaria).

Its still a double standard Gwyneth no matter how you spin it....you never corrected anybody for calling Dan Foley names, and you yourself resorted to name calling in your blog posting. But if I understand what you are saying is that we are going to use your subjective analysis of what is mean or what furthers conversation, I don't see how you will fairly enforce that.

As proof I offer up that the only conversation that came about as a result of the mean name calling by New_Mexican was the fact that I called him what his posting showed him to be and that is a jerk.

In short, your double standard only serves one purpose, and that is to show the obvious bias of this wanna be news source. Lets call it like it is, this isn't a news reporting site, this is a liberal blog.

Thank you, TJ, for removing your comment. And I apologize for not giving this thread more attention, but we've been pretty busy over here this week.

Your comment ("You're a jerk." wasn't it?) Was simply a three-word personal attack. It did not further the conversation at all. And that's what these comments are here for, a public conversation. I don't have all day to devote to patrolling the comments sections and rapping people on the knuckles for calling each other small, angry men. Your comment stuck out because it wasn't part of a larger critique. It was just mean.

Meanwhile, someone should tell John Dendahl that he is a screaming liberal, just like all the rest of our writers and commentators. He might want to know about that.
