My four brothers and I were Marines and served in Nam, my cousin was a Marine and served in VN, his son was a Marine, my son is a Marine and served in Iraq and is about to go to Afghanistan. What gives you the right to call my hero Dad and his buddies “punks and poor, wretched kids”? They gave thier lives to give you the freedoms that you abuse. I am your age and respect the service men and women of all campaigns. You lost all the respect of your peers (aged brats). What a looser you are. My Dad proudly served his country, unlike you, he gave me honor and dignety. I stand and salute all vets everywhere. I am and have been physically unable to serve in the military, but my full support and praise goes to all of the great Americans everywhere who gave me the opportunty to live in this great FREE country. I will never have the opportunity to defend my home except here within its boarders against ignorant people like you. Two of my sons are proudly serving. One in Germany and one in the Navy. Val is not Value or Valor. Niether of which you possess. As others have said all your videos I have went into the round file. I will never watch any of your films.

Enough with the actors as politicians. I suppose you can cite Reagan as a success, but so many others have failed. Kilmer will never get elected, so I guess we don't need to worry about that one. And Arnold shares at least part of the blame for the California mess because of the incompetent legislature. Still, I'd like to see more successful people in office than actors who have gotten to where they are in life by playing pretend!

I am also a viet nam vet 68-69 phan thiet 18th Engineer Brigade.
He was given a freedom to shoot off his mouth by VETERANS OF EVERY WAR.
He is a punk and coward for not going into the military..
Let him tell millions of viet nam vets that they are punks.
Tell go back where he came from or just leave the country.
We don't want people like him here.

Please shut up and stop running your suck on topics that you have no first hand knowledge of, uuuuuuuuuu you were 14 at the end of the war. How do you know anything? Oh yeah, you read about it in a book.

Just like most Hollywood types, you think you are the most knowledgeable and this give you a platform to talk about things you have no clue about. Please, why not just sit down at the fire place with just half of the people who have posted and responded to your diatribe. Come stand with me or some of my mates and learn first hand what it means to serve and be a part of history, not just a commentator on it. If you don't have the courage to do that, continue being a tool, running your suck and stealing good oxygen.

I was a big fan of val kilmer but no more I was drafted but joined the air force to stay out of vietnam but served in I corp 69,70,71 I was not what he said. upon exiting the military I earned a BA and a MA in history I have had non real career but have provided for my wife and two sons now I am totally disabled and not a day goes by without of thinking of what I saw and did in nam after his remark he would not get my vote as most politicians are f—–g crooks any how and are there to inflate there own ego and the people come somewhere down the line.
