Not true – nobody I know has forgotten the vote by Sen. Richard Martinez, a Dem from Española. The simple fact is that those of us in Albuquerque can't do much about that creep however Ms. Sanchez is in Albuquerque. We can encourage a primary opponent, we can knock on doors, we can stuff mailers – its hard to do that for a candidate in Española. However, if some nice folks up there want to take a run at Mr. Martinez they would certainly have my and others support.

This lady is taking way more heat than the folks who voted against it. And she is not a coward and I seriously doubt she is a homophobe either.

If you live in that District please give her a call – if you have a friend that lives there get them to give her a call.

For me the answer is clear, its time for Democrats to find someone to Primary her. We don't need homophobes in the Democratic Party.
