Looks like Val Kilmer may be hunting for some D.C.-based hired guns

How come lately I feel like I’m working for TMZ?

Turns out there was another Val Kilmer sighting, this time near Washington, D.C., and Beltway Banter with Baca notes that Kilmer was spotted in Alexandria, Va. That’s where two major Democratic advertising firms. Murphy Putnam Media and McMahon Squire and Associates are both located — specifically in the Old Town Alexandria area where the D.C. blogger said Kilmer was having lunch.
What is particularly interesting is that Murphy Putnam Media is the same media company that Gov. Bill Richardson used in his short-lived presidential run.

Richardson’s humorous ads gained praise from media types, but that didn’t translate into many votes in Iowa. Richardson finished a distant fourth in the Iowa caucuses. And, as we know know, Barack Obama victory in Iowa launched him into frontrunner status for the Democratic nomination.
