I am a christian that believes what the bible says, a marriage is only man and woman. It is wrong for man and man, woman and woman to even be together as partners like a marriage. It may pass now but I can tell you one thing God will punish you in some way or another.

I'm not worried about your incest, pedophillic, or polygamous lifestyle. I'm talking about health coverage abuse. I, and any single person with insurance through their employer, will then be able to supplement our incomes by “selling” our health insurance to any single parent for a lot more than what we pay for through our employers. How's that for a REAL slippery slope arguement.

Have you actually read the bill? It doesn't sound like it. There's not going to be any incest, polygamy, pedophilia or whatever it is you're worried about sliding into.

Here's an example of a slippery slope arguement: Birth inevitably leads to death and decay, therefore people should avoid, at all costs, being born. Logical, yet ridiculous, as it doesn't take into consideration the many, many other factors involved, just like most slippery slope crap.

Well, the major prerequisites would be applying, registering and paying the fee. If you don't do those things, no DP, so no “slippery slope.” Slippery slope arguments have always been sloppy logic anyway.

What will the prerequisites be to determine “domestic partnership”? Seems like a slippery slope when it comes to health insurance, family medical leave and property rights.
