Rep. Ben Ray Luján and his staff are proving to be really plugged into the new technology. They already have a Twitter account and now they have a YouTube channel.

“With Congress considering and acting on so many issues affecting the people of New Mexico, it is especially important for me to communicate with the people of the district,” said Luján in a release.

Luján continued, “On my You Tube Channel, New Mexicans can see the work I am doing in Congress on behalf of the people of the state.”

Right now, they have one video, a video of Luján speaking on water issues on the floor of the U.S. House.

As for Twitter, Lujan’s most recent tweet (as of this posting) was 20 hours ago. It reads:

What a great day, I met with a great group of community leaders early this morning and spoke to an assembly of nearly 500 students!
