Comments on: ABQ’s shiny new Southeast Heights ‘International District’ is official

For those of you who live in the Southeast Heights and follow basketball, I would strongly encourage you to read the article by Will Weber on the front page of Saturday's Sports (3/14/09) in the Albuquerque Journal. In this article he described Highland High School as the “educational hub of Albuquerque's so-called war zone.” People should be emailing the Journal editors to scold them for allowing such TRASH to be printed and for failing to keep up with the events in this city. Our city will never move forward until we embrace all areas, cultures, and citizens. It is time that people hold the Journal accountable for publishing such trash.
