White campaign removes blogger’s photo from ad

Jon Knudsen, who blogs as Johnny Mango on the Duke City Fix, turned us on to the news that Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White’s campaign for Congress has already released a new version of its most recent ad — which originally contained an image pilfered from Knudsen’s blog. 

In a post this afternoon, Knudsen wrote:

It only took about 24 hours from the time of yesterday’s post for the White campaign to take down the picture they stole off the Duke City Fix. That picture’s twisted and tortured body now lies discarded in the depths of photoshop hell.

As of this writing, the old ad was still visible on YouTube. Click here to see if it’s still there.

An e-mail to a spokesman for the White campaign was not returned this afternoon. I’d wait a little longer for them to reply, but seeing as how they still haven’t returned yesterday’s call on this subject. …
