State legislative standoff appears over — for now

“Earlier this morning I had the chance to visit with the speaker (House Speaker Ben Lujan) and he told me the chairman of B&I (House Business and Industry Committee) was going to have a session to hear all Senate bills,” Sen. Majority Leader Michael Sanchez, D-Belen, told other senators Wednesday morning.

Sanchez added, “I have been advised by the chairman of House Judiciary (Committee) will be hearing our bills sometime today.”
