Why do you think they lost in 2006, here a hint, it wasn't because the dems magically found the answer to the problem. And the reason we are even more pissed now is because the dems are spending at 5 times the rate that repubs did. I am an Independent, I was glad to see the neocon Republican machine finally fail. Our founding fathers did not set this up as a socialist nation and the foresaw the evils of government big enough to give you all you need is big enough to take away everything you have.
