Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be in Santa Fe on Tuesday with U.S. Senate candidate Steve Pearce.

According to a press release from the Pearce campaign, the “event will be held at Garcia’s Tires in Santa Fe on September 30th.” Romney and Pearce are scheduled to appear at Garcia’s Tires from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

“Mr. Garcia and small-business men like him are the backbone of our economy,” Pearce said in the statement. “By keeping taxes low and cutting through government red tape that hinders our business community we can improve life for working families everywhere.”

Romney is a former governor of Massachusetts and unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination for president this year.
