As a person of Arabian descent with many friends and family from that part of the world, and who are all Republican registered voters, I find this bigoted statement from someone who claims to be of a political party that represents all people, to be contradictory. Or perhaps I have misunderstood the Democrat party; perhaps you only selectively embrace certain people -- people you view as down trodden by "the man". And now you find joy when a certain type of people of a certain economic caste that you have labeled as, "the man" are "put down". That is a very small minded, and bigoted opinion you have of the Republican party. As a person of Arabian descent with many friends and family from that part of the world, and who are all Republican registered voters, I find this bigoted statement from someone who claims to be of a political party that represents all people, to be contradictory. Another way to interpret your interpretation is that you really are encouraging the republications to get back in the game by opening up the party to those with more moderate views because you believe that one party rule (as we've had here in New Mexico) for decades will only a corrupt government with no real interest in what the people actually need.
