Swing State of Mind, the Santa Fe Reporter’s election blog, will receive an AltWeekly Award from the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies for “Dave Maass and staff.” This brings the amount of awards by the Santa Fe Reporter to six.

This includes an award by the New Mexico Independent’s own Gwyneth Doland.

Swing State of Mind is a finalist in the blog category for papers with circulations of 50,000 or less.

The AltWeekly Awards will be announced on June 26 in Tucson, Arizona.
