Bloggers gather at Big Tent in Denver

By | 08.25.08 | 3:00 pm

Hundreds of progressive bloggers have descended upon Denver along with the traditional media folks. And many of the bloggers have found a home away from home — the Big Tent.

The two-story, well, tent features high-speed wireless Internet, lunch and dinner for those with passes as well as other not-so-traditional amenities — such as beer from New Belgium Brewery and massages from sponsor Google.

Those without passes are still allowed in the tent, just not the blogger lounge. They can attend lectures and discussions on the second story, where the Digg Stage is located. Even those not in Denver can see the live feed to the Digg Stage.

Sitting in front of me are colleagues from the Colorado Independent, feverishly typing away at blog posts and stories covering the convention.
