“The opportunity for America to create thousands of clean energy jobs that will build our 21st century cannot be understated,” Heinrich declared.

Heinrich cited partnerships with Sandia National Labs as helping move New Mexico towards fulfilling its renewable energy potential. He also talked about the variety of solar and wind energy producers setting up shop in and around Albuquerque. These include Schott Solar and the 100-megawatt High Lonesome Mesa wind energy project.
