Rather than resorting to calling skeptics “deniers”, shouldn't Mr Price explain why Minnesota would thank the Center for Climate Strategies (CSS – http://www.mnclimatechange.us/index.cfm ) for helping them to prepare their identical climate change commission ( http://www.mnclimatechange.us/background-scienc… ), and why former Kansas Governor Sebelius would note that Herb and Marion Sandler and their Sandler Family Foundation fund CCS (ninth paragraph http://kansas.sierraclub.org/Wind/GovernorVeto.htm )? That's the same Sandlers who are under investigation by the Justice Department and the SEC for predatory lending practices and fraudulent representations to investors before their bank, Golden West Financial, was sold to Wachovia ( http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/20081120/report… ), the same Sandlers who are now involved in questionable money dealings with ACORN ( http://spectator.org/blog/2009/06/05/toxic-mort… ).

Or is Mr Price in denial that global warming legislation can't stand on its own without smearing and censoring skeptics, or without the big bucks of agenda-driven funding sources?

This is nothing more than an attempt to distract the general public from the “800lb gorilla in the room”: with all their claims of the global warming debate being settled, global warming believers refuse to answer “when, where, who, how, why” about the debate. If it is truly over, WHEN exactly did it occur, WHERE was it, WHO attended, HOW were expert scientists offering conclusions contradictory to IPCC reports addressed and disproved beyond a shadow of a doubt, and is there any reason WHY the “Climate Change Reconsidered: The 2009 Report of the NONgovernmental International Panel on Climate Change” (NIPCC – http://www.nipccreport.org/ ), a collection of peer-reviewed published scientific papers, should not be considered as a second opinion to the IPCC reports?

You'd think that with all their evidence of skeptic scientists' reports being flimsy and easily debunked fabrications written by incompetent bunglers bought-and-paid-for by big oil / coal CEOs, they would have gotten such a headline splashed across the nation's largest media outlets already, erasing all further opposition by politicians and shame-faced deniers.

When they continually fail to show where the skeptics are wrong for all to see, it looks like a Watergate-style cover up that they can't actually defeat the skeptics purely on the science. When the general public fully understands this, the global warming crisis will collapse like a house of cards.
