Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign has put up an ad exploiting Republican presidential nominee John McCain’s comments earlier this year about renegotiating the Colorado River compact, reports Jeff Bridges of Colorado Independent.

As you may remember McCain said offhandedly that he might support renegotiating the Colorado River compact, which started a firestorm that caused GOP Colorado U.S. Senator candidate Bob Schaeffer to say the Colorado River Compact would only be renegotiated over his “cold, dead, political carcass.”
