A great idea in theory but the costs of these panels will likely be a detriment to Albuquerque's already strained budget.

The thing that has put me off solar power has been the costs. I think that any help that can be made available is a great thing. Pheobe

As a student, I too had to loan money in order to pay for my studies. Because getting my degree seemed the most important thing at that time I accepted the huge interest the bank asked. I think the government should regulate student loans or even lend out the money it's self with very small interest

This is a good deal, not for the city but for individuals like myself. If I get a big enough system I can use all the power I want and sell some back to cover night use. I get tax credits and an interest free loan. I keep on keeping on.

One thing for sure poor people will not benefit, they never do but the progressives will pretend they are doing the right thing. This is a program that benefits very few people. No real bang for the buck.

The right thing on the other hand would be to develop cheap source of electricity for all using whatever works including nuclear power. The problem is Progressives like to hurt and punish people. They prefer solutions that will send us back to the stone age and just to keep warn and cool will cost a small fortune. Their idea of a good energy policy is to make it as expensive as possible. They like to hurt people, they don't really care about anyone but themselves. In a way progressives are haters and will do everything they can to hurt the average person with their dogmatic and narrow views of life. Let them. Nothing like social unrest to change things.
