I do not think the woman has what it takes to win the GOP nomination much less the general election should she pull off a primary win and get the nomination.

The GOP does not realize how bad their brand is in New Mexico. They ruined it for who knows how long. Their enclaves in the SE part of the state may be all they have left. Their style of politicking, a la John Dendahl attack dog tactics, has hurt them and they have not realized this. New Mexicans in general do not like this style of politicking. Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity seem to have ingrained themselves onto the GOP here. Susana is no different. Going after any Democrat in her sights.

And from Texas no less. You think we need a Texan in the Roundhouse? Yikes

I find it telling that State Rep. Dennis Kintigh thinks “the major issues the state faces are corruption and public safety.” Given the current situation and what we face as we go forward, it seems clear that the top issues will be creating jobs, a renewable energy infrastructure and better educational opportunities. I think it would be a huge mistake to elect someone like Martinez who has zero experience in anything other than prosecutions. What does she know about the state beyond her backyard, or the complex matters that a governor has to deal with?
