The Republican National Committee (RNC) will be spending a million dollars across the country to air radio ads targeting potentially vulnerable Democratic members of Congress on the issue of health care reform — including two in New Mexico.
Democratic Congressmen Martin Heinrich of Albuquerque and Harry Teague of Hobbs are on a list of 60 targets by the RNC, CNN reports.
Talking Points Memo writes about the ads, which potentially vulnerable House and Senate Democrats will see during the August recess, “This is just part of the reason reformers wanted the House and Senate to wrap up their work on health care legislation before recess.”
