I have a hard time understanding how anyone other than the executives and shareholders of the private insurance companies could think that our current healthcare system is meeting the needs of the American people. I'm a medical professional myself and support universal health care reform. I've written my Congressman, Senators, and the President on more than one occasion and have also called their offices to voice my support for reform. I've also spent countless hours researching what the best overall way is to bring down long term costs in order to provide everybody accessible and affordable health care. The only data that we see posted about the percent of New Mexicans uninsured includes all/most of the illegal aliens who clog our current healthcare providers and hospitals and cost the rest of us who pay our taxes to support these facilities. I love my current healthcare plan and I manage employees and the only ones that are trying to get this reform passes are the ones that OPT OUT of any available healthcare they qualify for now. What makes you think they will do anything different if you provide a government run one that they still have to pay for? And yes, they will have to pay. But our President and Congress aren't telling the truth about that, are they? NO. They want this passed as yet another way to CONTROL US. Don't let the government bureaucrats destroy this country and the freedom of choice that so many of our ancentors fought and died for. And, ask your Congressman and State Representative if they are willing to take the same government run healthcare plan that they are trying to shove down our throats? No, they won't. ONLY A HANDFUL OF OUR ELECTED CONGRESSMAN AND/OR REPRESENTATIVES HAVE EVEN READ THE BILL. EVEN PRESIDENT OBAMA HASN'T READ HIS OWN HEALTHCARE REFORM BILL. What an idiot!!!! Be an informed U.S. Citizen. Don't believe all the lies they are telling us. Read the bill for yourself and you will see the truth in what the government jerks are trying to do to this country we love! By the way, I have read the entire bill and highlighted in Yellow (caution) and Red (danger) all the items that are going to destroy this country if they vote yes. I ran out of yellow and red highlighter before I got to the end!!!!!!!! Stand up for your rights!!!!

Why won't the elected officials in Washington listen to the American people. Please do not insult our intelligence. Most of our questions are simple, direct, and without a hidden agenda.
Be honest, who is going to pay for this? This country needs less government and not more.
Why won't you crack on down on insurance fraud, cap malpractice suit, eliminate life-long health coverage for all of you elected officials, and other wasteful programs that you voted in.
Our founding fathers wanted less government with elected officials to represent the people. It seems as though our voices are falling on deaf ears.

Single Payer, Universal Health Insurance is the BEST option. Most industrialized countries have figured that out.
Let me make it easy on you. It really is “Medicare For All”.
As a small business owner, I'd much rather pay a 7% payroll tax to our government than pay 20% for premiums to private insurers and their CEO bonuses.
If you want to stay with your private insurance plan, nothing is stopping you.
