JoMa, These Liberals “Just don't get it” their party, especially in New Mexico politics are mired in scandals and corruption. That is why It is an impossibility for them to grasp the difference between legal and illegal immigration they know not when they do wrong.That is why they think it is OK to steal our money (taxes) and spend it like its theirs because they don't know what illegal means! They OK stealing the life of the unborn and think it “just” to pay for it with our Money. They control the schools, banks, auto industry and now want to do the same with health care. Lets look at the record when government controls something it is doomed to fail, SSI, Medicaid, Medicare, Amtrak the Post Office, all bankrupt!!! What more proof do these people need Yet the sheep follow these blind Sheppard's to the slaughter.

The baseless fears about health care reform stem from some people's inability to accept the fact the we have a half-white president who is smarter and more competent than most of his all-white predecessors. Outrageous threats and claims about immigrants – come from the same hateful ignorance. Both typify the last death rattle of right wing racism.

Equating people who are here illegally, and those who play by the rules. Your article interchanges legal and illegal so many times its absurd.

We are a nation of immigrants. Immigrants built this country into one of the world's greatest. But we entered legally, worked hard, and and still work hard.

The kind of far-left spew in your article will be one of the things that people will use to argue against reforming the health system. People are afraid that the Government (you know, those folks who brought you Amtrack, the Post Office (currently $7B in debt – again), the stimulus bill, and on and on) will destroy health care. Saying we should also include some 12 million people who who are here illegally not only ain't gonna happen, it will screw up the whole attempt.

Uhhhh… are these the same people who got all hysterical over a Swine Flu epidemic? Because you would think that preventing communicable disease would be a good thing. Unless noncitizens are getting “Free socialized health care”. In that case they should just walk around sick infecting everyone.
