North Korean diplomats in New Mexico to meet with Governor Bill Richardson will attend briefings on renewable energy at Santa Fe Community College this morning.  The diplomats will hear from several renewable energy experts and business owners, according to a statement released by the governor’s office.

Topics covered will be sustainable technologies, clean energy, wind energy, biofuels technology, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal and concentrating solar power. They’ll then receive a tour of the biomass plant at the community college.

Richardson himself won’t be at the briefings; he has a number of events scheduled in Las Cruces, including a speech to that city’s chamber of commerce at noon.
