NMI to live blog Heinrich town hall

By | 08.22.09 | 1:14 pm

Beginning at 3 p.m., NMI will host a live blog of Rep. Martin Heinrich’s town hall on health care reform. The event will be held at the UNM Continuing Education Building in Albuquerque, but it is expected to fill up quickly. We’ll be using live video from KNME-TV for our live blog, so join us! The whole hour and a half will be dedicated to questions from the audience, who will write them down on cards as they enter the auditorium. Moderator Augusta Meyers will draw questions at random without pre-screening them. Heinrich will be joined by Michael Richards, chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at UNM’s School of Medicine; John R. Vigil, CEO and medical director of Doctor on Call; and Paul J. Gessing, president of the Rio Grande Foundation.
