I am a board member for five different applicants for a producer license. I intend to apply soon for a Primary Caregiver license (which does not require as many hoops to jump through) that should allow me to grow for up to four other patients. In addition, I want to start a support group for medical cannabis patients in San Miguel County/Las Vegas, New Mexico. I have been on the medical cannabis program here since November 2007, and I still have met only one other patient. New Mexico is one of only three states that allow growing and distributing cannabis for medical use.

In addition to having a Patient ID Card, I have also been issued a license to grow marijuana for my personal use. I have encountered many problems in securing quality seeds and clones -- and the knowledge to grow my own. In the beginning -- when I was very, very sick -- I was ripped off TWICE trying to buy quality seeds online. Once by Amsterdam Trading Company <amsterdamwebtrading.com> for $300, and again by BC Bud Depot <bcbudonline.com> for $90.Eventually, I was able to acquire some clones from a compassionate person in Taos, NM.

Every crop that I grow is a learning experience -- whether to grow in dirt, or hydroponically -- indoors or out. When is the best time to harvest? What is the process for drying and curing the buds? The question arises whether I should grow myself or just try to buy it.

I believe that many of the 500+ registered patients in New Mexico are experiencing similar problems whether they are trying to grow or are just trying to acquire their medicine on the black market. If we could talk together, and/or meet together, I believe that we could share information and ideas that could greatly improve our quality of life.

Robert Jones
Las Vegas, NM
505-425-8282

PS: Here are links to some recent stories that have appeared in area television and newspapers if you want more information.

KRQE-TV
http://tinyurl.com/n8zuea

SF Reporter
http://www.sfreporter.com/stories/gone_ja/4971/

Well typed, JoMa.

They could use the bundles they seize that are still packaged, test a few for safety and THC levels, and label them with a sticker as to their contents, like an alchohol bottle has the percentage of alcohol.

THC content per ounce? Then people could know how much to smoke if so much gets rid of their pain or allows them to have an appetite.

Once by Amsterdam Trading Company <amsterdamwebtrading.com> for $300, and again by BC Bud Depot <bcbudonline.com/> for $90.Eventually, I was able to acquire some clones from a compassionate person in Taos, NM.

KRQE-TV
http://tinyurl.com/n8zuea

SF Reporter
http://www.sfreporter.com/stories/gone_ja/4971/

I am a board member for five different applicants for a producer license. I intend to apply soon for a Primary Caregiver license (which does not require as many hoops to jump through) that should allow me to grow for up to four other patients. In addition, I want to start a support group for medical cannabis patients in San Miguel County/Las Vegas, New Mexico.
