I don't know why this seems so complicated to you.

This is offensive. He also lied when he said Joe Wilson called him a liar. He didn't, he said,”You lie.”

Lies and insults abound. Just another day at the NMIndependent.

Sorry, when David Duke rose to power in the Republican Party in the 1990s he was shown the door. The Republican power structure told it's voters not to vote for him. He was denied all funding from the GOP.

Sen. Byrd though, he was feted and treated like a hero, and then went on to insult white and blacks alike.

Your narration doesn't past muster Derek.

It's more like “revisionism” than a true telling of the facts or history.

I judge his actions, insulting blacks and whites like he did, over any bogus apology he utters to hide his real intentions and fool half-wits like you know who.

The fact that this racist found a home at the top of the Democratic power structure should frighten even someone as you.

Besides, isn't a person's actions far more important than their words? If his votes on civil rights issues are the right ones, his words don't matter so much to me.
