Mayoral-Debate-4WJoin us tonight as The New Mexico Independent joins forces with KUNM-FM, KNME-TV and Weekly Alibi to host a lively debate between RJ Berry, Martin Chavez and Richard Romero, the three candidates who will be on the ballot in Albuquerque’s Oct. 6 mayoral election. The event will be held tonight at 7 p.m. in the Bank of America Theater at the National Hispanic Cultural Center; come early because the seats are first-come first-served and we need everyone in their seats before the TV webcast begins.

The debate will be moderated by Marisa DeMarco of Weekly Alibi, myself, Gene Grant of KNME’s New Mexico in Focus and Jim Williams of KUNM. It will include video questions submitted via YouTube, questions from NMI’s live blog and questions composed by the moderators.

If you can’t be there with us in person, you can listen on KUNM on the radio or online, watch the webcast on KNME’s Web site, or watch the video and live blog with us here.
