White House pushes health care reform state by state

The White House is pushing health care reform state by state. The White House provided figures in a press release to media in New Mexico today showing what the White House says is a need for health care reform.

“The status quo of rising premiums is simply unsustainable,” said Vice President Joe Biden, “for families, for businesses, for state budgets, and for our national economy.”

According to the White House, the premiums paid by families in New Mexico went up 118 percent over the past few years.
