Did an Albuquerque McCain supporter call Obama a ‘terrorist’ at UNM?

At his Albuquerque rally at the University of New Mexico today, John McCain asked the crowd, “Who is the real Barack Obama?” and a McCain supporter seemed to yell out “terrorist.”

Talking Points Memo’s Election Central blog has a video, included below, of the incident.
TPM Election Central blogger Greg Sargent said whether or not McCain heard the yell isn’t conclusive.

McCain seemed to pause, and didn’t denounce the epithet. I’d argue that there’s no way to arrive at a conclusive answer as to whether he heard it or not, short of asking him and getting a frank answer. McCain could have been pausing to admire the pith and artfulness of his smear, or to bask in the adulation it brought. And McCain is not responsible for what some whackjob yells at his rally.

Marc Ambinder, a blogger for The Atlantic, noted the incident:

Judging by McCain’s slightly startled reaction, he clearly didn’t anticipate that reaction, and McCain’s in no way responsible for the utterances of anybody in his audience. But he must have some idea of how deeply this fear/outsider/other meme has spread. A tripartite strategy isn’t needed…
