It is certainly obvious to those of us who have observed and paid attention to the local efforts on both sides of the wilderness designation issue for the past four or five years, that you have only cared to observe the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance's efforts and have all but ignored the efforts of a very large and, I think, thoughtful and well-read contingent of the community consisting of business men and women, industry organizations, civic organizations, various local governments, recreationists, sportsmen, individuals and, yes, a small group of ranchers who are the stewards that actually take care of the resources they are so concerned about. Your bias is easy to understand now.

Hey Heath why didn't you include a link to the People for Preserving our Western Heritage wesbsite with their even longer list of businesses that don't support this effort. The whole tone of this implies that People for Preserving our Western Heritage don't support protecting these lands, nothing could be further from the truth. I don't think that the 16,350 acre concession totally address the law enforcement issue this is just a bone thrown out to make it look good. People need to know all the facts before the blindly support somehting based on emotion and perception. Oh! Why should we confuse peoples' perception with the facts.
