Luján Named One of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics

Congressman Ben Ray Luján was named on of the 100 most influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine in its annual list. Luján is one of six ‘influentials’ from the world of politics and one of two members of Congress on the list.

“I am honored to be named to this prestigious list of influential Hispanic leaders,” said Rep. Luján. “Many of those on the list are people I look to for inspiration and advice, and it is a privilege to join them on this list.”

Luján is a freshman representative from New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District, which spans across northern New Mexico.

The other Hispanic member of Congress who made the list is Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., who has been a strong advocate of the health insurance public option and is the 1st Vice Chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
