New Mexico is missing an opportunity to fix budgetary problems by killing two birds with one stone. First, decriminalization would help empty our expensive jails and prisons. Second, as shown in CA, alot of revenue and employment could be generated supporting small businesses to meet demand.

Time to end all this idiocy and allow marijuana to be grown locally and sold locally to anyone who needs it for whatever reason. Where are the right-wing big gu'vment hating libertarians when we need them? Time to stand up to the feds and let them know that in New Mexico they need to keep their old tired marijuana laws off our bodies.
