The Hill: Barela raises “pedestrian” $107K in third quarter

Republican 1st Congressional District challenger Jon Barela raised a “pedestrian” $107,000 in the third quarter according to the Washington D.C. political news source The Hill. Barela is facing incumbent Democrat Martin Heinrich.

Heinrich’s numbers are not available at the moment, but he entered the quarter with $474,725 in cash.

The Hill wrote:

Businessman Jon Barela (R), a highly touted recruit who is waging an uphill campaign in a Democratic-trending district held by freshman Rep. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), raised a pedestrian $107,000 in his first full quarter, after raising $73,000 in just three weeks last quarter.
