But, Denish is from the Richardson administration whereas there has been a genuine change of power in Albuquerque. The problem is that Republicans practice cronyism and are just as corrupt and incompetent and paid off as this administration.
Gary Johnson may have been elected as a Republican but he was really a Libertarian.

In fact, according to my calculator and the above article, each inmate costs between 31818.19 and 39622.64 each per annum. That's the equivalent of a damn good NM wage that could support and entire family. I doubt if the guards make near that much in wages.

First, the double dippers pay ZERO into the PERA and ERB fund. The state budget has to make up this difference. There is the first substancial savings. Second, you seem to think these jobs have to be filled. Furloughs and layoffs are coming and I am saying the first ones to be shown the door should be those who already have a secure pension coming in. Third, with unemployment at almost 10% it should NOT be double dippers, but the qualified unemployed doing the work.
