"The revelation about the news releases – proof that Denish and Richardson were spending at least some public funds on politics – comes after a week in which Denish has been heavily criticized for her use of the federal stimulus money"

Uh, what "revelation?" They were news releases. They've been on the Lt. Guv's Web site since they were released to every media organization in the state.

By "revelation" do you mean Steve Terrel, Democrat hack for the Democrat mouthpiece Santa Fe New Mexican didn't bother to find out at the time if the "spokeswoman" was a public employee, and by the way, he didn't question the propriety of campaign endorsements under the official letter head of the Governor and Lt. Governor?

unbelievable--denish camp throws the contractor under the bus and tries to say that it was wrong billing? How about, own up to the fact that you lied to the public about this and only when faced with indisputable proof you agree to reimburse. I don't buy for one minute that the fact that the contractor pushed out this release on STATE LETTER HEAD slipped by anyone. her hand is just in the cookie jar. If Denish can't get these things right why should she be entrusted with more?
