The Santa Fe Reporter’s Zane Fischer reports on an asphalt plant’s plans to operate at the Caja del Rio landfill. The plant’s location seems to “make no sense,” says one landfill engineer.
The Las Vegas Optic has a story about a prank, pulled by some Department of Transportation workers, that sent one employee to the hospital with ringing in his ears. Apparently the workers created a small explosion by mixing toilet cleaner and aluminum in a plastic bottle.
