Phil Griego and David Ulibarri for choosing to not participate in the farce. Also for what it might be worth, getting a rare chance to go elk hunting (despite the dismissive italicizing) is something that has a unique cultural significance for many New Mexicans and, even though I don't hunt, as a Norteño I can appreciate how the Senators might have weighed participating in an essentially meaningless exercise against what might have been their last opportunity to engage in a unique activity with members of their families and friends.
