King to lie in state Friday, funeral on Saturday

Former Gov. Bruce King’s body will lie in state at the capitol building in Santa Fe on Friday, and his funeral will be held Saturday in Moriarty.

That’s according to a news release from the office of Attorney General Gary King, Bruce King’s son.

Bruce King’s body will lie in state at the Roundhouse from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. And on Saturday, the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. at the Moriarty High School Gymnasium in Moriarty. Lutheran Reverend Russell C. Lee will officiate.

King died Friday. He was 85.
