We don't have any issues in New Mexico that Weh has to comment on something entirely out of his purview? Does anybody really care what he thinks about this?

This is an election coming up that a Republican could win. Maybe he could appeal to the real issues?

For a bunch of gung-ho, hawkish, semi-belligerents, Republicans are remarkably uncourageous. I'm having trouble now remembering a time when they weren't running around wetting their pants over some threat, foreign or domestic, real or imagined.

Aside from the fact that they make money every time we get into a war (as they starve the VA for funding while claiming to be more patriotic than more progressive and educated Americans), the GOP seems to have given up on the idea that we can be safe AND act consistently with the Constitution.

But then, even Bill O'Reilly admitted the other night that he doesn't care about the Constitution any more.
