So what if former Information Technology Secretary Roy Soto received a $49,500 contract from his department and former Workforce Solutions Secretary Betty Sparrow Doris received a $100-an-hour, $49,200 contract with her agency immediately after leaving their positions? Since both of their contracts happen to be just under the state Procurement Act's $50,000 threshold for professional services contracts there's nothing to look at here, everything's under control so move along with the rest of the sheep.
