ACCEPTING campaign cash during a Roundhouse session is nothing new, nor is it illegal. The headline and the implication are wrong, and sensationalized.

From what I've seen and heard, Rep. Janice Arnold-Jones has not actively solicited campaign cash during the session, as the law requires her to do. But anyone may donate, if they feel moved to do so. And as the story here states, she even wants to disallow ANY candidate from soliciting during sessions.

She's been very transparent about donations, too, posting them online as they come in. Shame on the Independent for this sensational headline, at least.
