They seem to think that disagreeing with US Foreign Policy equates to being un-American or against the troops. The reality is far different. What I would like to see is TAH address the skyrocketing suicides in the military (We lost more troops to suicide than enemy action last year. Anyone not addressing this grave situation is most assuredly NOT supporting the troops.)

Kokesh, on the other hand has been heavily involved in Veterans Issues since his return from Iraq. I visited Kokesh at the group home for vets he started in DC, where he ran PTSD counseling sessions, to find out if he was for real or not. He is. He was the token conservative in a liberal environment. I saw him defending true conservative, constitutional principles, and turning liberals away from their delusions. Kokesh has never “changed horses”, he is not a “disgraced Marine” (he was discharged HONORABLY from the Marines). He is not a 'drug abuser”, and has even quit drinking since his days re-adjusting from fighting in Fallujah. He realized in Iraq that the greatest threats to our country are not to be found in some far off land, but rather right here at home. He was morally outraged and was one of the first Republicans with the stones to speak up for the constitution, even when it was unpopular. He won a great victory for Veterans 1st Amendment Rights during this time, no matter how TAH tries to spin it.

So, New Mexicans are faced with a choice between a conservative who rejects the welfare/warfare state, or an actual Socialist Liberal. Kokesh's GOP opponent is about as inspiring as a pickle, who has no chance of turning the 15k swing votes needed to win NM3rd. (Further, he campaigns in churches spreading lies (as a Christian I can only pray for him), and now, after spending the last few months bragging how his professional management experience makes him more qualified than Kokesh, he filed his FEC paperwork late and has wasted his supporters money to fines/etc.)

Finally, any “conservative” who supports endless war seems very confused to me. Perhaps this video will help explain why

Finally, his ability to work with many groups, while maintaining his own conservative principles, is a sign of leadership and will be crucial in winning NM3rd. Again, New Mexicans would do well to remember Reagan's 80/20 rule, because Kokesh is the ONLY conservative who can build the kind coalition that can take the seat away from the incumbent machine. I have witnessed him standing on principle in hostile environments and have no doubt that he will maintain those same conservative principles in office. Which of his positions (that he has steadfastly maintained) do you consider “NOT conservative” He is Pro-life, Pro-Gun, Pro-National Defense, Limited Gov't, Low Taxes, and Individual Liberty.

kokesh participated in the 2008 Winter Soldier Conference II, in which he joined forces with a variety of frauds and malcontents and falsely maligned their fellow soldiers. recall that the original Winter Soldier Conference was organized in 1971 by john kerry, and kerry went on to falsely testify to congress against his fellow soldiers.

if we have learned anything from the obama election debacle, it is this: it does matter who a persons mentors/friends were/are. kokesh has surrounded himself with a large variety of america-haters, communists, and malcontents.

kokesh is NOT a republican, he would not even qualify as a RINO – imho he is an INFILTRATOR. hopefully the good patriots of NM 3rd congressional district will not fall prey to his manipulations.

How is he a peace activist when he has his arms branded with military tattoos state his willingness to comply with orders even though he claims to object to those orders? Does the USMC's 2007 rule change banning large, below the elbow tattoos say something about how the corps generally views one wayward marine who disrupted a national political convention while wearing the emblem of the USMC inked along the full length of his forearm?

Is his grandstanding around the United States any different than the grandstanding revenge campaign the Marines executed against Fallujah? The battle for which he both claims credentials to oppose war and credentials to execute war?

Sir we all know Adam has FAR more to add to any resume. And sir, if, if Adam had only that to his resume I would continue to stand next to him than fall by you. For morality has left our congressmen and women. And with this election WE THE PEOPLE have the chance to bring that morality back to OUR government!
