If you work a 9-5 and own a home (or god forbid a business) you will be coming to a intimate understanding of NOT FAIR when you get to pay, pay, pay!<br>You will be paying for a School System that irreparably broken, students that have no possible motivation for learning, parents that are indifferent, etc. There is so much broken with the school system that NO AMOUNT of money will even dent the troubles. It's a cultural issue and not a money issue.<br>The State cant afford to continue coddling all the folks who cant pull their own weight. This is understandably a horrendously unpopular idea for the elected officials and they will break every other piece of the government trying to avoid "tough love" for these folks. The very government services that the State is providing to all our needy will then start to go away.<br>If you work in a mid-level State job, get ready.. If you keep it, expect to do the work of all the folks who didn't keep theirs. This will go on until you break. When you are no longer able to work, the Elected Officials will throw in the towel and start cutting the only thing that is left...
