At a $1B construction expense, which will easily go higher in the real world, that is a cost of $20,000 per household, assuming exactly 50,000 homes can get electricity once complete. Not to mention maintenance and ongoing operations...what exactly is the business model for this company? How will it be financially sustainable? Will NM become the dumping ground of failed solar projects when money dries up? I love the idea of solar, but this does not make a lot of business sense.
