The rich corporations have enjoyed tax cuts from both republican an democratic administrations at the federal and state level while the poor and middle classes have paid proportionally higher taxes and struggled to just get by for the last 8 years. There was no “trickle down” only the economic disaster of 2008. Cutting schools, infrastructure development, government services, etc. will put thousands out of work and deplete further the necessary services our government provides. Taxes are the price we all pay for education for our children, roads, security, etc. Continue with the tax cutting and in the end we will all pay for more prisons, and suffer from a deteriorating infrastructure and a declining economy and a dismal future for our children.

What drives the economy is money in peoples pockets. If people don't have money to spend, companies won't hire more workers. Unemployment benefits, social programs give people money to spend and THIS gets the economy going. Raise revenue. Don't cut programs. Learn from the past.

Yeah…that's right…don't make us rich people pay our fair share or we'll someday not create jobs for all you little people just like we're not doing now. This is our state, our country and our politicians, by birth right.

True, we are 1% or less of the total population. True, we don't need public services because we can buy the best private schools and health insurance that money can buy. True, we are taxed at the same rate as the little people and we already pay very little real estate tax on our mansions. Why should we? We are the kings of the universe. If poor, working and middle class people would just pull up their bootstraps and live off their investments and trust funds like we do, they could get ahead in life. Long live the oligarchy!

Tax the poor and small businesses – that is outrageous. However, the wealthy Movie moguls gets tax credits. This is so wrong. We should be cutting expenses.

That sound you hear are the wallets and pocketbooks of the taxpayers screaming from being squeezed by the Roundhouse – again!

Those people with “six figure incomes” are the ones starting companies and hiring new employees. Hiking taxes on them may seem like a good idea, but it will cost jobs, even in the short run.
