Video webcasting of the House floor is only two days old, yet it seems the word is getting out. The Legislative Council Service (LCS), which operates all the webcasting in the roundhouse, says on Wednesday there were 181 watchers/listeners of the Senate and 109 in House. Those numbers represent the peak during the day.

Webcasting continues to be a topic of debate at the Roundhouse with several bills aimed at expanding coverage. Right now, anyone on the Internet can hear and watch proceedings in the Senate and House floor. Those interested can also hear all House committee meetings over the internet.
