The New Mexico Senate passed a memorial on Tuesday that gives the environment a friendly push without a lot of work. SM 9, sponsored by Sen. Dede Feldman–who told Senators the bill was co-written with Wild Friends and school children from around the state–urges state and county agencies, municipalities, public schools, colleges and universities to use pollinator-friendly landscape plants that benefit bee, bird and bat populations.
