At the end of the 2010 session there was little that would make anyone happy. But the failure to pass a budget and an impending special session left House Republicans particularly frustrated. “I feel like we ended in disaster,” said Rep. Keith Gardner, R-Roswell, “I mean we didn’t even get a chance to vote one the budget, to do what we are constitutionaly required to do.”

Gardner said Republicans were not included in the budget talks which took place throughout the session, but they will try to work on solutions in preparation for next weeks special session.

There will be limits to what he, and fellow Republicans will accept, he said.

In the video below, Gardner talks about the close of the session and what is next for House Republicans.
